Si Sops talaga patalo. So, there we were, Nigui, Dannie, Jo and I, preparing the banners and the letters. Then Nigui and Dannie went out to buy Sophie's birthday ice cream. So, Jo and I were minding our own business when the door opened. We thought it was just the two who went out for ice cream but no, lo and behold! Sophie was there standing amongst the supposed surprise. We could not think of an alibi so tawa na lang, as in sobrang tawa na lang nang tawa. Sumakit nga tyan ko, e. Haha. Lesson learned: when planning a surprise party, always, always, have a contingency plan.
