Legally In Love
Saturday, December 29, 2007 |5:52 PM

I have yet to find the words to describe the beautiful wedding of my ate Sharlyne and Kuya Rey. As of now, I would like to share with you some of the pictures of this wonderful event.

No to Xmas!
Saturday, December 15, 2007 |9:14 PM

Don't let the title mislead you. I love love love Christmas but I really don't like the way people write Christmas with an x. Why are they crossing out Christ when He is the essence of the season? Well, just a thought.

I can't help but feel giddy when I hear beautiful and happy Christmas songs. Add to that the cold air, the brighter stars and the happier people. Also, earlier today, I saw Sam Concepcion singing my favorite Christmas song. It was not a very stellar performance but my crush and favorite song rolled into one presentation, well, that's just an early gift for me.

I have never made a Christmas wish list and I am not planning to make one now. I just want to think of gifts for important people to me and try my best to give it to them. I hope this Christmas, I will be able to give everything I thought of on my home today. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Just want to share the lyrics of my favorite Christmas song.

Do you remember me?
I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you with childhood fantasies
Well, I'm all grown-up now
Can you still help somehow?
I'm not a child, but my heart still can dream

So here's my lifelong wish
My grown-up Christmas list
Not for myself, but for a world in need

No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
Every man would have a friend
That right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown-up Christmas list

As children we believed
The grandest sight to see
Was something lovely
Wrapped beneath our tree

Well heaven only knows
That packages and bows
Can never heal
A hurting human soul

What is this illusion called the innocence of youth?
Maybe only in that blind belief can we ever find the truth.

Don't Stray, Don't Ever Go Away
|1:02 AM

As usual, I practically spent my entire day with friends: Com class with an acting workshop, then lunch at SOM mall (my forever love, Rodick's), photoshoot at the condo. We were suppose to watch Mark's film but unfortunately, they pulled it out at the last minute so we ended up in the condo again. After buying food from the newly-opened Chowking, we watched the film and went crazy afterwards. We danced and sang and danced some more with the lights closed. As usual, the "processing session" was not forgotten.

Unfortunately, there was some mishap that happened. Justin got angry. I'm sorry if it was something I did.

I really pray that after college, we will not fall apart. I'm sure that we will not hang out as often but I wish that somehow, the friendship we have will remain. To get an update every once in a while of what is happening in each other's lives and know that one will always be there for the other. I love these people dearly and I just hope that they know that.

I am so happy with how things are going for ****. She likes someone who likes her back. This is making her oh-so-happy which in turn makes me happy.

Somewhere, I heard the question "On your last year on earth, what would you like to do?" It got me thinking. What would I like to do on the last year of my life? I know that it is somewhat a morbid thought but it is inevitable. Everyone dies. It is just a matter of how and why you did. If ever I get some free time, I would like to ponder on this morbid yet beautiful question.

Talking about free time, I think that I will not get that in the coming week. I have two long tests on my two majors, one orals for a core subject and a project for another major subject. Please, help me give my best on these school stuff. Come to think of it, after this one week, I can breathe and sleep again, right?

Yet again, I am paying much too much attention on trivial stuff. This must change. Looking back is fun to do if you have something good to look back to. So, in order for that to happen, I should do stuff that will make great for a trip down memory lane.
Goodnight and good luck, Kim. You can get through this alive and well.

To The Two People I Dearly Love
Monday, December 10, 2007 |9:46 AM

Chilly winds and starry nights
Decorated trees and pretty lights
These are some of the things
That the Christmas season brings

But with this seasons came
A strong urge for me to proclaim
A deep sense of gratitude
To the people I have deeply valued

To the man who have provided me
With unending love and safety
He who showed me right from wrong
Taught me to always be strong

Also, to the lady who bore the pain
So that my life I can obtain
She who never ceases to care and nurture
Making this world a whole lot better

Thanks to my Mom and Dad
Being their daughter, I’m so glad
Because of them, I’m one of the few
Who in a beautiful home grew

Saying “thank you” is insufficient
You’ve loved me since I was an infant
I will always be in your debt
And that I will never forget

I’ll take care of you when your hair turns gray
This is somehow a way to repay
Everything you’ve done for me
So that a bright future I can see

You two are great manifestations of love
A true gift from the one above
You’re the best one can wish for
The ones I’ll forever love and adore

Mondays
|12:54 AM

Monday is my least favorite day of the week. This begins another school week. All the pending problems and work must resume. Ay-yay-yay. Why can't it always be Friday or Saturday or Sunday?

It is just now that I am getting tired of studying. The weird thing is I haven't been studying at all and yet I'm tired of it. Irony. Hay naku. If I keep up this attitude, I will suffer. I know that for sure.

On a lighter note, the Christmas season comes with chilly winds, starry nights, pretty lights and also, fireworks displays. Almost every shopping mall is producing one on a weekly basis and this makes me oh-so-happy. I just hope that I don't get tired of it.

I watched Enchanted today and it was cute, not good, cute. Good thing I watched it with my two younger sisters because if I did not, surely it will depress me. You see, I was surrounded by all these couples hugging each other. O well, just wait, it will come to you.

Today is my good friend Jan's birthday! Happy Birthday love. I am looking forward to spending more time and stories with you. Love you to bits, you pretty lady. :)

Fireworks and Christmas Lights
Saturday, December 8, 2007 |1:49 AM

Eastwood was simply beautiful tonight. The fireworks display was gorgeous and it really made my heart skip a beat. It was very, very, very beautiful. I also liked the layout of the Christmas lights of the said place. However, I think I would appreciate it more if they were all yellow. In spite of that, I really want to go back.

Withering
Tuesday, December 4, 2007 |4:35 PM

I have always liked the way I write, but reading back on my previous entries makes me want to think otherwise. I don't know what happened but I want to write the way I used to. O well, as of now, I'll continue writing. Practice makes perfect, right?

Finance is evil. Yesterday, I gathered the self-motivation to go to the lib to study the said subject. I found a good place, sat comfortably and opened the book. For some time, it was staring me in the face. All I had to do was begin reading but for some forsaken reason, I could not. There is really something wrong with Finance. I have tried and tried and tried to study it but... wala, wala talaga. Good luck na lang sa 'kin sa long test.

I bought happy pens today. Can't wait to start and use them. Creative journal, here I come. O yeah, I have to do my talent presentation this Friday. Now, what could I do? Hmmm...

Paso
Saturday, December 1, 2007 |7:04 PM

Having Saturday classes, as any other, has its pros and cons. It lightens my weekday load but it prevents me from ever having a long weekend. Tradeoffs.
Buti na lang, okay na yun prof ko sa Opman. Let's go Mufflers! Haha.

Friends.
What makes you one? Does constantly spending time with someone makes him/her your friend? If you no longer hang out as often, does that stop the friendship? Complexities.
Are we friends or merely acquaintances?

I spend too much time thinking and I hate that I care too much. I should really spend my time more efficiently. Kailangan kong mag-DL kahit isang semester lang. More than that, I should train everyday. It is the time for change.

I must. I must. I must.
