I spent most of my day at Greenhills and it was fun.
As I walked the people-filled aisles of the tiangge with my two beautiful friends, I noticed this weird conversation that often takes place between the ate and the customer:
Customer: Ate, magkano 'to?
Ate: 500pHp
Customer: Ang mahal naman, pwede ba 450 na lang?
Ate: Sige, last price, 450.
*
Customer walks away*

Ang labo. Magtatanong kung magkano tapos tatawad pa pero wala naman palang balak bumili. Mga Pilipino talaga, oo.

Waking up, walking, eating, talking, singing, laughing, drinking, listening, bargaining and more -ing with friends is a very good way of spending a day. *see their multiply sites for more details*
Love you, guys. Looking forward to more of these.

Three weeks into the semester and I am still on sem-break mode. It is just now that I realize that I have not studied at all for the past 18 days of school. One good example is right now. I should be doing my WAC#1 for OpMan and here I am typing away for something else.
No need to wonder why I get mediocre grades.

At last, nakausap ko rin si Lala after the longest time. It has been a while, my dear friend. I miss you a lot. Please come back, love.

Also, yesterday, I had a "reunion" with another very good friend. Kung hindi pa ata nagka-coup, hindi pa tayo magkikita e. O well, I just want to tell you that I really missed you and I am sorry for not being with you during these difficult times. Basta, I love you dear. I hope we could get together more often. :)

I have more to say but... never mind.

I like you
Can't you see
But I know
We'll never be
'Cause for you
Its just not me

Because of this
My heart is breaking
Longing for you
Sadness I'm feeling
But mem'ries of you
They're still lingering

Wait for it to pass
Is all I can do
Hope it happens fast
Like the wind that blew
Please happen now
Before I fall for you

On Love and Family
Sunday, November 25, 2007 |12:41 AM

Not everyone is as lucky as me. You ask why? One of the simple reasons is that I have a very supporting and loving family. My immediate family is everything I need and more. But add to that an extended family that wishes nothing but the best for you, well, that is simply more than enough.

Earlier today, while we were at the birthday celebration of one of my cousins (happy birthday, Cecille!), our simple kwentuhan turned into a discussion about love. You see, the birthday celebrant's boyfriend came to the party, but apparently, he was not introduced to the family who wanted oh-so-badly to meet or simply see the guy. So our titos and titas, being the concerned citizens of the Philippines that they are, wanted to teach us about love and relationships and all that jazz.

They began the discussion by asking us one by one what our definition of love is then continued on to telling us about what boys want and what the girls should do about it. The same music that would play every so often. It is nothing new, but it is nice to listen to once in a while.

The opening question really got me thinking.
What is love?
This question has been asked since the beginning of time through the gradeschool addiction, the autograph and you would think that I would have an answer immediately at hand, but I did not. It is like the joke about finding the value of x. Over and over, you will be asked this question and everytime, you will search for an answer.

With no way out, I had no other choice but to answer. I based my answer on what I see rather than what I felt. My feelings is really not a good basis because I seriously doubt that I have felt that love we were talking about. This definition of love is from what I see in my ultimate idols, my parents.

Love, for me, is prioritizing the welfare of your partner, accepting him whole-heartedly and then help bring out the best in each other. That kilig factor in the beginning is nothing but the tip of the iceberg. Loving is so so so so so much more than that.

In relation to that, I really think that love is insufficient to maintain a relationship that would last a lifetime. It takes unending patience, hard work, much understanding, unbelievable selflessness and a lot more which lack of words prevent me from expressing. You need to do all these so that at the end of the day, you can have someone to share everything with, to make everything more meaningful and worthwhile.

All these talk made me wonder about my love. I wonder, where is it? O well, as of now, I will patiently wait. It will come to me. And when it does, I am quite sure it will be worth the wait.

Spin

It has been a long time since I last sat and swung in a swing. super saya. I love everything about it: the wind, the heights, the feel. Ahhh...

We live on front porches and swing life away
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor, I'll slave 'til the end
I won't cross these streets until you hold me hand.

On another note, to go round and round in a should-be teacup is not a good idea. Not only will make want to barf, it will ruin the rest of your night. O well...

Wanting to start
Thursday, November 22, 2007 |4:48 AM

I have been wanting to write and share for the longest time now. But I can't.
I need to have a nice lay-out first.
